The Rio Nitrus is a perfect cross between a Flash player and Hard drive player. Reliabilty problems seem to plague it though. Aside from that the small size and superb, actually stunning sound quality make it a good buy for sub $150 class hard drive players.

The Rio Nitrus is a cross between a hard disk and flash-based player combing the small physical size of Flash Memory players, with the large Storage space of Hard Drive based players. It does this by using a tiny 1" hard drive that can store up to 1.5GB of music.

  • Up to 16 hours of continuous playback
  • 5-Band Adjustable Equalizer
  • USB 2.0 Interface for fast transfers up to 480Mbps
